Biography
Dr. Wayne Cordeiro is a pastor, bestselling author, leadership expert, and international speaker best known as the founding pastor of New Hope Christian Fellowship in Honolulu, Hawaii. Beginning with a small congregation in Hilo in 1984, he later launched New Hope Oahu, which grew into one of America's most influential and innovative churches. Under his leadership, the New Hope movement has planted more than 150 churches throughout the United States and across the Pacific Rim, while helping over 110,000 people make first-time decisions for Christ.
An internationally respected voice on leadership, ministry development, and personal renewal, Cordeiro has authored more than a dozen books, including the bestselling Leading on Empty, The Divine Mentor, Doing Church as a Team, The Irresistible Church, Jesus: Pure and Simple, and Sifted. His teaching on leadership health and burnout has impacted pastors, executives, educators, and nonprofit leaders worldwide.
